The marathon with the support of the Ecological Resource Center "EKOMAKTAB" On October 10, 2023, in the 36th and 25th schools of the Dzhambai district, during the environmental and educational work of the employees of the Zarafshan National Natural Park, a presentation of the International Sister Marathon of Friends of the Reserved Islands was held (October – November, 2023). The goal of this project is to involve more than 4,000 children and youth in environmental diplomacy through the creation of sustainable sister-city ties between school and student clubs of subsidiaries and affiliates in the regions of Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan. The first online meeting was held with the sister-team from the city of Perm (Russia). The marathon is being implemented with the support of the Ecological Resource Center “EKOMAKTAB” (Uzbekistan), as well as the khokimiyat of the Jambay region.
