On August 26, the International Ecotourism and Sustainable Tourism Summit, held for the first time in Uzbekistan, took place in Tashkent. Approximately 100 tour operators and experts from more than 20 countries participated in the event.

Expert Natalia Shivaldova presented a report on creating ecotourism trails in mountainous areas. The presentation presented approaches to creating ecotourism trails that simultaneously introduce visitors to natural heritage, enhance environmental awareness, and promote sustainable development in mountainous areas.
Participation in the summit provided an excellent platform for exchanging experiences, establishing new professional contacts, and exploring opportunities for future collaboration in ecotourism.
