Turiada 2025 took place in the mountains of Chimgan. Yesterday, the traditional Turiada 2025, which took place in the foothills of Chimgan, ended. This year it was dedicated to the “Day of Memory and Honor and the 80th anniversary of the Victory of Peoples in the Great Patriotic War.” Teams from different regions of Uzbekistan, as well as from Tashkent, arrived to participate in sports competitions in mountain tourism. I would especially like to mention the team of cadets from Namangan. The basics of mountain tourism are included in their compulsory sports training. The program of events included competitions in terrain orienteering, climbing trails of varying difficulty, and climbing exercises. As well as an environmental landing to clean up natural areas. Veterans of labor and veterans of the Afghan war came to visit the participants. The main goal of the event was to familiarize young people with the basics of tourism, local history, and ecology, and the same commemorative events were carried out in honor of the participants in the war of 1941-1945.
